Detroit, MI -- Today, Luna Innovations introduces its newest product,
the FiberPro 2, at Sensors Expo and Conference in Detroit, Michigan. Luna's
newest fiber optic measurement system, which will begin shipping in the
third quarter of 2004, allows users to take measurements in environments
unapproachable with electrical-based sensors. Luna Innovations' unique
fiber optic sensor solutions are immune to electro-magnetic interference,
and are small, lightweight and robust enough to handle the most demanding
applications. The FiberPro 2's one kHz speed, expansion to eight
channels and user-friendly interface make this measurement system attractive
to the industrial user and researcher.

Luna Innovations is exhibiting at the conference in booth #652, as well as presenting at SensorsExpo's Medical Symposium in room D2-15. On June 7, at 1:15 p.m., Dr. Ted Lynch will discuss Luna's portable medical diagnostics with ultrasound system which is currently under development. This compact, easy-to-use ultrasonic monitoring system observes traumatic injuries in which increased internal pressure stops blood flow to the brain or muscle compartment causing intracranial pressure or compartment syndrome. |
